Winter in Norway is dark but a bit warmer this year. The snow has just begun to fall on Dragon Shores and it’s beautiful! We’ve had many visits from deer and foxes this season, which feels magical!
Every morning we start the day with puzzles over coffee and tea. We do Wordle, Connections, and compete against other with A-Puzzle-A-Day. One solution is never enough, so we try to find two or three for every day. We really love the look and feel of the new version!
After our morning mental work-out, we have plenty to do. The holidays are coming and, like many businesses, it’s the busiest time of the year for us. We’ve been getting ready for the holidays: sending lots of puzzle orders for our Black Friday week, decorating House of Dragons coffee shop with lots of lights, and making custom puzzles on our own machines. This last week we’ve been making 3d animal jigsaw puzzles and our Norwegian Christmas Forest (a flat-packing slide-together forest with Norwegian animals). It’s really fun to be cutting, gluing, packing and sending out these cute animal puzzles!
